Three Tree Hill
Three Tree Hill is a small, family-run lodge tucked into the foothills of the KwaZulu-Natal Drakensberg, overlooking the wide open spaces of the Spioenkop Game Reserve. It’s a place shaped by land, history and quiet moments – where guests are welcomed into a home rather than a hotel. Our relationship with the local community is part of everyday life here. We employ and train people from the nearby village, support local suppliers and crafts, and work closely with community-led projects that focus on education, cultural exchange and long-term sustainability. By keeping things small, thoughtful and grounded, we aim to ensure that the benefits of tourism are shared in meaningful ways, and that our guests leave with a deeper connection to this place and its people.
